Sounds like you need a 3rd tank... multis don't need that much room! A 10 gallon would do! And unlike all this high-tech CO2 stuff they're as low-maintenance as it gets. Add sand, add shells, add multies, BABIES! I haven't changed a single thing about this tank since I set it up over a year ago

Hahaha easy for you to say, you have your own apartment.....I have a room that has very strict rules....lol

That tank looks good! I bet they really like it in there. Have you ever considered adding a black background? Would make the colors really pop and hide those wires.

You can't get one measly little 10 gallon? Christmas exists for a reason! And that reason is more fish tanks!

Send me the hermit crab, I'll send you some multies! I don't have any plans for the crab that involve feeding it to my favorite specialist predators of shelled animals

It took mine about a month and a half before I saw fry. Keep an eye out for females that don't seem to leave their shells. And be patient- trust me, they will spawn, and then they will spawn CONSTANTLY. Ever since mine spawned I have never not seen fry in this tank! Usually at least 2 simultaneous spawns in different colonies!

Lol, fish arrive in the mail, no tank set up for them, forced permission for a tank from the parents! Perfect plan.......

Yeah, a parent whose "family heirloom" he wants to pass down is the 26 gallon bowfront he set up when he was a kid

I feel your pain, My mom was not very happy when i showed up black Friday with a 60 gallon, and then had to re-do my entire room to fit it. 4 months ago i was at 0 now i have 3 - 10 gallons, a 30 gallon (theirs so they say, but i do everything) and my new toy =D.

Haha, my parents get pissed at me a lot, I see something i want and bug the heck out of them till i get it normally. i have had my puppy for roughly 2 years now, kitten for around 1 ect ect. I was always into fish but with me and my brother getting older they didn't want to take care of a 200yr old farm house by themselves when we move out. So the tanks were on hold for a few years. This house is like 1/3 the size of the old one.
