Slightly burnt driftwood

Hello all i went and bought some*driftwood*for my aquarium and when I was boiling the two small pieces I fell asleep and woke to all the water in the pan evaporated and the wood was just sitting there burning a little. I rinsed them off and an re-boiling them. Do you think they will still be ok to put in tank?

Thank you for the reply I appreciate it very much ? I ended up throwing the burnt ones away and bought two more small pieces for my tank. Lesson learned!! Do not fall asleep while boiling driftwood!! Have a great day?
