For about a year I've had a big CAE that has been bullying a smaller Rainbow Shark enough to keep the latter in it's place. Well the RS has grown to be about the same size as the CAE and last night the RS was pushed around for the last time. He had had it with that CAE! Suddenly there was a flurry of aggressive tagging back and forth that lasted about 10 minutes. Scales were flying! It was like Wild Kingdom! Finally the CAE scurried away defeated! The RS ended up unmarked but the CAE was missing some scales. I almost broke it up and removed the RS but would have had no place to put it, so I just let them duke it out to determine rank. It was kind of exciting to see the tables turn. All well in the morning. They both seem to know their place now.
