Snail bio-load?

Do snails add to a tanks bio-load? Particularly ramshorns and bladder snails, they are the ones overrunning my five gallon.
 
Everything has a bioload, but you would need truckloads to see much of an effect. If you have that many you are probably feeding too much.
 
Too true. Snails produce such a small bioload to your tank that it's not enough to even consider a problem. You would have to practically wallpaper every surface of your tank in snails for it to become something to worry about.

As rich311k said, if you are experiencing a sudden population explosion of snails, you are probably overfeeding your fish.
