snail ID please

hey, i found these snails in my tank... the picture is hard to see.

they are small clear shelled snails that rest on that plant, they don't seem to be eating it, but i'm not sure.... what are these and will these pose a threat?

Looks like a young pond snail to me. They will do damage to plants and mulitply like crazy, get rid of them as soon as you can.
 
A few methods work. Putting a piece of lettuce in overnight and removing in the morning is one option. The snails will crawl on the lettuce. If there are only a couple, manual removal will work, taking them out of the tank by hand that is. Are they in the 10 or the 29 gal? You will have to watch for any further snails, they may have laid eggs already. Snails usually hitchhike in on plants.
