That isn't illegal I don't think. I see pond snails everywhere in the stream, rivers, etc.

It didn't look like they had that many even in their snail tank, so that was probably why they didn't mind taking them in.

Yeah. Probably. Or maybe they had an algae outbreak and they need the snail?

I have a lot of streams, ponds, etc around here so even if the lfs don't take the snails I give them, I dump the into the nearby streams.
