i have to disagree with joande, im a shrimp guy, its all a preference.

pleco, mine did the same thing, and then just died... no warnings, it wasnt full grown, or old, it just died. never had a shrimp die on me, just get killed by my stupid chromides

welp, he smells and he dosnt retract in to his shell at all. I think its safe to assume that he is dead. The smell is almost an ocean'y type smell, its not pleasant but hard to pinpoint what kind of smell it is.

On another note my pleco seems to like to hang on the powerhead now, not sure what happened to his cave... I guess it just makes me nervous since my snail was doing that in its last days. Hopefully it is eating, but im still curious what the fascination with the power head is. The tank temp sticker thing says the tank is between 78-80 so i think im ok on water temp and my water parameters are fine. I think im just paranoid...
