snails and loaches

Hi guy's and gal's. My grandkids would like me to add a couple of snails to my 135 gallon tank. I have two 2-3 inch loaches in the tank. Will this work or will it be a buffet for the loaches. If so,I don't want snails that I will be breeding like rabbits. Thanks.Mogens

Hey mogens,

I think you will end up with 2 very happy well fed loaches! I haven't heard of a particular type of snail they won't eat.

Potentially a large apple/mystery snail might survive if the loaches can't fit it in their mouth.
