I have a couple quick questions.
1) my bro wants to have adfs and neons in his 5 gallon with a snail. What kind of snail has a small bioload?
2) how many of each could and should he get?
3) which neon is hardiest? Jumbo Neon, Green Neon, or Cradinal?
4) where do I get Green Neons?

Ok well a few questions :)

1. A nerite snail.
2. Just one or two.
3. Not sure, all are sensitive to water quality and I definitely wouldn't put them in five gallon tanks.
4. Check the LFS. Sometimes they'll special order them for you.

Neons - if you're referring to neon tetras - need a minimum tank size of 10 gallons and need to be in schools of 6 to 8 at the very least. A 5 gallon will not suit them as they need lots of swimming room.

I have to agree. And the most a 10 gallon could hold is 8 neons. I have 13 in my 40g and plan on getting 8 more
