My gold apple snail dieded. He lived to the ripe old age of 1 1/2 (in tropical temperature).
 
Sorry for your loss. It always makes me sad when I lose snails...that aren't MTS.

No, don't think I do. He was in an office tank and I didn't ever get around to taking pics. He did lead a good life, and a year and a half is probably half a year than most apple snails I've had in warm water.

I think my betta misses his friend though. He used to brush his tail along the snails antennae and watch as he ducked back in his shell.
