Just discovered my fish love fresh spinach!

Did you blanch first or just put it right in the tank? I've never tried feeding spinach so I'm curious

I put a few pieces in one of those clips that stick to the inside of the tank. I didn't blanch or cook it. I took it right from the bag. I have Silver Dollars, Parrots and Firemouth's in that tank.

Your silver dollars will rebel if you don't keep giving them it!


I would think spinach would be very good for any fish that ate it.Blanching or freezing would be only needed to help it sink or soften it up for fish(the dollars don't need any help! and the clip keeps it from floating).
