sorry ive been asking a lot of questions lately...

so i bought some driftwood from the LFS and im boiling it right now. The water is not "tanning" so im guessing when i put it in my aquaruim that means i don't have to worry about it turning the water color later down the line? or do i still need to let it soak in a bucket of water for a couple of days?

I know tannic acid is not toxic to fish, but i don't want my pretty clear water turning tea color.

if you use chemical filtration, activated carbon, you wont have any problem with color changing water.. and by the way.. I like answering questions.. Ive been answering alot of questions lately and hoping that Im not getting annoying.. 8O

yes, i have carbon in my filter, i went ahead and put the driftwood in, its such a tiny little piece, but it looks nice.
