So I have a 56 gallon tall tank. I want to make it a planted tank with schooling fish. I also want to incorporate angelfish in the tank but I'm not sure how many I should get and what other types of fish to add. Any suggestions?
And what kinds of plants should I put into the tank?
Thanks!

Look into some Congo tetras, you could also do a pair of rams either Bolivian or german blue.
Plec of some sort
And maybe a few other tetra species. Emperor, neon/glowlight school.

Rummy nose or bleeding heart tetras would be nice.

I really like the looks of rummy nose tetras and cardinal tetras but will they bother the plants or the angelfish?

Stocking Your Tank

Hello Tank...

Tetras and Angels are a difficult combination. Either the adult Angels make a meal of a young Tetra or the adult Tetra constantly nips at the fins of the Angel. One or both will happen.

Just one reporter's opinion and just the word that's out on the street.
