stocking advice

Hi, I have a 55 gallon aquarium and have a few questions about stocking. Rainbow Fish have always been a want for my tank but I could never have them with my smaller 20 gallon tank. Currently in my tank I have:
1 angelfish
1 rubber lip pleco
2 platies
5 mollies
5 neon tetra
I was just wondering if there would be a possibility I could add in some rainbows (mostly boesemani rainbows). Please give me some advise on numbers of fish and different species that would fit with my very peaceful fish now!

you are pretty understocked if you ask me. There are plenty of rainbows you could add species wise

Boesemani Rainbows
Dwarf rainbowfish
madagascar rainbows

There are so many more possibilities

You are very understocked. You could add a mix of boesemani, neon dwarf, turquoise, Lake Tebera, red Irian, or many other different species.
