Stocking my 20g long

I moved the rasboras and neons I had in my planted 20 long to my 29 gallon tonight, along with some male guppies. (It was a brightly colored small fish sort of thing.)

So now, I have 6 emerald cories in the tank, and nothing else. I don't want to put a male betta in there - sometimes bettas get stressy with schooling/shoaling fish, and the cories do that dart to the surface thing.

Although I'd love to have some kuhli loaches, I don't want to overload the tank with bottom dwellers. I don't want to overload the tank at all.

I thought about a dwarf honey gourami.

Any suggestions?

I wonder if I can get one locally.

From the description of the tank setup he'd prefer, my 20 would be perfect.

They're my favorite gourami, all the color of Colisa lalia without all their associated health issues.

Looking at its profile online now...it's a beautiful fish.

Don't tell anyone but I bred multiple species of gouramis for years, if I wasn't into breeding cichlids I'd be back with them.
