Im pretty sure my new tank is close to being cycled, i know it takes awhile to cycle but i've had mine a couple weeks and am already getting nitrate levels but ill be bringing in a water sample to my lps to make sure! I added 2 zebra danios after the first week and 3 leopards a few days later and they are doing fine. I need some advice on what else i can stock my tank with, I would like 2-3 fish that will grow 3-4 inches. The fish im thinking about are a red tailed shark, cory's or a pleco. Anyone have any good recommendations for a couple fish with a good personality that dont get too big and will be ok with the danios? I'm also interested in a school of barbs. Also would some sort of eel work too? And what sort of pleco could i get that doesnt get huge seeing as i am not too big of a fan of the bristlenose? Thank you!!

there are variations of the bristlesnose, but thats the only pleco s,all enough. red tailed sharks and eels get too big

Redtail shark really needs at least a 4' tank, they're territorial when they grow a bit.
Same w/spiney eels, a 29 is simply too small. Kuhli loaches could work though if there's suitable cover.
I'd recommend a relatively mellow species of barb, tigers and closely related species can be a hassle for other fish. Cherry barbs are small, would fit well in a 29.
There are a number of small Hypancistrus pleco's, but they're nocturnal and seldom/never seen out and about in the daytime.
Here's a couple pics of pleco alternatives for a 29:
Juvie L-134 leopard frog, markings look better as they grow:

Young L-333, old pic, pattern is much more intricate now:
