So right now my lfs has all their new arrivals in quarantine as they quarantine them for 2 weeks before they will sell them , I have to up my schools because my candy canes and eating the fins off my lemons plus I want to re school my rainbows, I know you don't have to get 4 of each type you can interchange or that's what i was told for example I have 1 Turquoise but my lfs can't get more Turquoise all they have are red Iranian, bosmani, and dwarf silver something, absolutely amazing color, Can I interchange rainbows say 1 Turquoise 2 bosmani 1 red Iranian? If so I have a 55 gallon so here's what my stock would be after reschooling the tank

4 rainbows
6 candy cane tetras
6 lemon tetras
1 BN Pleco
3 phantom tetras
3 juvenile clown loaches (rehoming in a few months as they are still small 2-2.5")
Filtration isn't an issue I run 2 Aquaclear 110's
Would this be to many fish for a 55 gallon??

Given the AC 110s, I think that's fine in a 55. I might add a few more of each tetra, especially the phantoms. They're all happiest in groups of 7+.
