Stpid mistake but i need help

So i was doing a pwc


I use a faucet outside and i accidently got some garden dirt/mulch in my tank


Is this bad?


Its a 10al with a sponge filter
All i have in there are mystery snails

Its only a handful of 1cm particles but im worried

Try siphoning out as much as possible as it may contain chemicals such as pesticides. However it shouldn't be the end of the world.

No it won't really help much, to kill the bacteria you'd have to heat the water way more.
Try siphoning as suggested mystery snails are pretty sturdy you could take them out and put them in a cup meanwhile.
