Hey guys! I told my LFS to call me if they get any striped peacock eels in.

Well they finally called me!

So I have a couple of questions!

Ways to make him feel as comfortable as possible? I want him to be social! And not a hider!

How often to feed? I have frozen bloodworm cubes.

Compatibility with tiger barb/green tiger barbs(school of 8-10)
Gourami?
Any type of fish I should be weary to put with?
Do better in groups(of eels)?

Thanks in advance!

I'll just tell you about my experience. I bought one about a month ago. They are very skittish. It is very peaceful. But it hides a lot. There were days when I couldn't find it at all as it was buried in the gravel. I've tried feeding it a number of frozen and live foods, after lights out. I have never witnessed it eating and don't know if it has. But finally, the last few days, it has started coming out and swimming around when lights are on. I don't think many fish will bother it, since it stays at the bottom and hidden. Provide a lot of hiding spots, plants etc. be patient. I don't know if groups are better. I've read conflicting opinions on that.
