I picked up two nice looking Corydoras yesterday, I looked for more of this variety and will pickup a couple more to round out the shoal when they get some in a shipment.
Anyways, I can't settle on a positive ID

:?: IMO the first three are the most likely candidates, what do ya'll say :?
Their saddles are a nice golden/yellow with irredescent hues and some emerald behind the gills, spots seem to be vertical...
Much like C. delphax.
Check these species against mine at www.planetcatfish.com or elsewhere on the web.
C. ambiacus
C. delphax
C. leucomelas
C. melanistius
C. sp. (C103)

I'm gonna say they are C. delphax only because the goldish saddle is more pronounced and extends to the gills in C. delphax and doesn't seem to in C. ambiacus. They are very similar though. ;)

That is what I keep thinking too, was my first impression.
Hmmmm... I have this posted in a few forums, so far C. delphax is in the lead.

It looks exactly like the picture of the Black Sail Corydoras in the book I use. C. melanistius.
