Sudden Aggressiveness?

Hello, people! Has anyone else noticed male gourami temper? I have one (who I recently learned is a three-spot...which was the last nail in the coffin for me needing a bigger tank) and he is just mean to my mollies. I don't know why either. They're supposed to be compatible, and he didn't have a problem with them at first. I don't know what changed. Also, snails are cute.

Tank size and lack of a female for him to focus on are the likely culprits. Most gouramis are layed back and no problem. Ever so often you get an individuals who acts like a jerk because they can. I have had over a hundred gouramis in my time and only had two who were aggressive. Try getting a female and see if that helps.
