I have had this 27 gallon Hexagon tank I bought used for cheap. I've always liked the look of these tanks but am aware they can be problematic. I've had it running for some months now but the only fish I have in it are a school of about 6 upside down cats. I want to buy a 5 inch synodontis angelicus and use this tank as a grow out tank for it. I know it will need a bigger tank soon. But will it be a bad choice for tankmates of the small upside down cats? Can anyone suggest other african fish for this tank? All my other tanks are S. American but I want to start collecting african fish as well. I was considering the dwarf cichlids Lamp. Multifaciatus but they need harder water than upside downs. would they be a bad choice?
