I have a sword plant and I'm wondering if anyone knows how to multiply it

They grow runners which pop up separate individual plants.

How will I know when it pops up a runner

You'll see it. Sometimes they will send a stem off with a runner above the substrate, but it's usually below if the plant has been in there for a while and the substrate is deep.

Well its in gravel right now and is growing rapidly up and has about 20 leaves
