Tank water issues

My mom won't let me change my fish's water because she feels that it puts to much stress on them just because I have had some fish that have died in the past due to "stress" we later found out that the plastic plants were just cutting them so we replaced them with real. But she is still Parinod how do I convince her that water changes are good for fish tanks.

Likely your fish were stressed more from other factors than having their water changed.

Convincing is not the issue, it is learning about how to properly care for the fish.
