Hmm...I don't think you'll see a lot of variance in the thickness of the glass in tanks of the same size. AFAIK, everyone pretty much uses the same stuff until you get into custom built tanks. I would think 1/4" glass on a tank that size would be sufficient. You might find one with 3/8"...I kinda doubt it though.
if you think 3/8th's is heavy you should try moving my 135g 1/2" thick OMG I smashed my finger and it turned this really great purple and black for about 2 months.
