I don't know really something with alot of activity and personality. I know it will be small fish because of ten gallon.

Daphnia are People Too.
There are quite a few species for a tank that size, but it would be helpful to know what biotope you meant. Bettas have a lot of personality. I have heard dg have personalities too.

Ok, so then do you want an Asian biotope? Or, were just using saying you want a good 10g environment?

Celestial pearl danios and chili rasbora are both Asian nano fish that could work, depending on how specialized you want the biotope to be.
