I had to set up my 5g QT tank for a female Betta so a little later I go in to check on her & step in some water. Hmm, maybe I spilled when I filled the tank. I clean it up & a little later there's water on the floor again. No water around the tank or running down the cabinet it's sitting on. What the heck? Well, the water is running down the cord, huh? Makes no sense the top of the heater is OUT of the water. I've used this heater before & never saw this, very weird. Needless to say heater has been removed, the only other heater I have on hand is one of the Betta bowl heaters. It'll have to do until I can get to the store tomorrow.
