My dilemma is whether it would be appropriate to rehome these comets to the rather large man made pond over at city hall across the street from me. I can only guess at the size of the pond but it must be several thousand gallons and they do stock it with goldfish.
My pond is only 125 gallons and I have 3 comets out there in it. I bring them inside in the winter to a 60 gallon laguna tub with quite a bit of swimming room due to it's shallowness. So, there really is no way for me to keep them and I don't want to give them to a pet store because I don't like the way they treat comets. Any suggestions are welcome.
