Hi all,
I have some problems, I have a custom built tank 165 gallons, it is quite deep of 36" inches so I am having trouble cleaning the gravels or lets say vacuuming the gravels. is there any real DIY technique maybe making a powerhead vacuum cleaner or do you guys suggest different way?

Also my tank is poorly decorated but I am thinking to update it and adding some new fish, which fish do you suggest for my tank, maybe you can recommend after seeing my tank video here:

Thanks

Hi, welcome to the forum :)

The deepest tank I have is 30inches so I feel for you with a deeper tank. I love mine but it can be hard to work in and reach the centre bottom.

How did you end up getting one of that size? In my case, once I paid for the stand it wasn't much extra to get the deepest tank I could.

Have you tried the website below for looking at stocking at all?

Errr what are all those cichlids in there? They appear to be african cichlids which shouldn't be in a tank like that...

I would get rid of the african cichlids and add some clown loaches!
