I read somewhere that a fish owner has the blue lights on their aquarium light turn on at dusk and turn off at 8 or 9am and the white lights come on. Then the white lights go off at dawn and the blue ones cone back on and go off at night. The person does this to mimic dusk and dawn. I kinda like that idea and was thinking of doing it myself, but I'm afraid that will be too many hours that the lights are on. What are your thoughts on this?

It's meant to be a transition for the fish. My understanding is that the moonlight setting doesn't count toward the photo period, but I'm also curious about what other people here have to say about it.
