Hi all!

So, we have a chubby Albino Tiger Barb -I tried getting a picture, but.. fast swimmer + camera phone = blurry picture - and after some googling, educated deduction, studying of the other fish in the tank/etc I believe she is carrying eggs. Well that and I think I can actually see them? Or that could be my imagination.

Anyway, I'm sort of at a loss. If she is carrying eggs, what do we do? My google-fu on the matter must be weak. I found a lot of sites that offer how to breed but not many that help out panicky fish moms who think their fish is already carrying eggs.

LInks, thoughts, more information..anything anyone has to offer I'll be glad to hear it!

Thanks in advance!

You could try and put the eggs in a birthing tank till the little ones get a big bigger to fend for themselves. Chances are the Tigers will eat their own young if they are kept in the tank. Possibly feed them baby brine shrimp once they hatch.

hope it goes well
