So I have had a tank for about a month now. All I stock are Tiger Barbs and one Redtail Shark. 3 Tigers have died so far, well 2 have died and one has no tail and all the other tigers are eating him. What is the deal? Is this normal behaviour? Also I have another tiger with half a tail. And he seems to be the meanest. He is also close to the smallest of the bunch. The smallest is the one that has no tail.
Thanks

I had two because thats all the store had the time and the one ate half of the other and it was still alove and swimming around the tank but then one day he went all out on him. Sometimes they are just mean. The bigger the school the better

Tiger barbs can be quite aggressive, and larger schools will keep the aggression to a minimum. 10+ is a good number for them. Also, redtail sharks get huge and will outgrow most smaller tanks.
