It's not natural for 'em, if that's what ya mean. Like most fish, they can probly tolerate a certain amount of salt before osmoregulation fails, but I wouldn't have the slightest idea what that threshold would be and see no reason to test it. It would cause undue stress or possibly death to the fish, and there really is no reason to keep these fish in brackish water.

the reason i was asking is because i am getting rid of them cause they got to big for the tanks i have and the person i am giving them to has a cichlid and a placo in a brackish and i wasnt sure if they would be okay..
