I think it's possible. For example, if I put our chocolate gouramis into a 100 gallon, I really believe they would starve to death. They're extremely reclusive and it would be nearly impossible to get food to them.

Ah thats a good point, feeding. It would be pretty tough to target feed one fish in a 2000 gallon lol
