Has anyone else ever kept a blue panchax? I tried getting information on it but shows very little. Or it is just a color variation of the golden wonder killifish?

I keep a few types of Killifish and can tell you these are not color varients of the golden wonder. I'm also pretty sure that males fight with each other so they need to be kept as 1 male and at least 1 or more females. Or you can just keep a single male.

You might want to try contacting some killifish fanciers. There's an American Killifish club, and many others more local. Often you can get really nice fish from hobbyists you'd never see in stores, and you can get really good information on keeping them too.
