Unknown Rainbow Fish

Bought this fish w/ a couple Australian Rainbows. Can't find what it really is. Pretty aggressive. Definitely not Australian. How do I post a Picture?

the fins are weird for a rainbow fish - all the ones I've ever owned even some of the more endangered ones had the dual dorsal fin

It's a Giant Danio. It will grow to about 4", but aren't normally overly aggressive. They are a schooling fish, however, so being alone may increase it's aggressiveness. I would advise you to either rehome it, take it back to the store, or acquire 4-5 more to form a school. They actually go very well with Australian Rainbows if you want a small school of each and your tank is large enough. I used to keep both in a small indoor pond/fountain, and they did great together.

Thanks, I'll take it back and try to get what I paid for. There were Danios and Australian Rainbows in the same tank at the store.

Maybe a new reality show in the making? LFS Prison Break.
They are pretty cool fish. Very quick and active, like their smaller cousins.
