Unsolicited advice received on Prime

While checking out at one of the big named pet stores, I received some unsolicited advice on using Seachem Prime (since that's what I was restocking up on). She said to be careful when using too much of it since it adds ammonia to the tank. I told her I haven't had any issues using Prime nor have I heard it doing so.

Wanted to get people's thoughts and opinions on what she said regarding Prime.
