Upgraded to a 55g Tank

Well, I am happy to announce I have upgraded from a 30g tank to a 55g tank. I currently have 2 angelfish, 3 female guppies, 1 male guppy, and 1 rubberlip pleco. I would like to add some platies and a rainbow shark or 2.

Will the shark be compatible with what I have?

If you have at least 2 caves and plenty of cover like plants and stuff I feel like you could easily add 1 male platie and 3 females and a single red tailed or rainbow shark. The only fish I would be a little worried about is the guppies when the angels get full grown they might eat the guppies.
