used tanks?

i am thinking of buying a 65 gallon acrylic tank on craigslist it is the tank a stand canopy a light and a filter for 200 i am wondering what risks am i facing in buying a used acrylic tank? would i have to or be able to reseal anything? if so what price am i looking at for such a job? thanks -David

Just check out the condition of it in person. Acrylic tanks don't use silicone. They use a cement (IPS weld-on) to bond the acrylic sheets together making it virtually leak proof. Just make sure it's not cracked, or has no major scratches. Minor scratches can be buffed out.
