UV Question

During normal use (not with an infected tank) is it okay to plug my UV into the same timer as my lights so that it would be on for 9 hours each day? I figured that would be a good way to cut back on maintenance and improve bulb life if it would work. Vets, let me know!

I agree - sounds like a great idea and one that will extend the life of your bulb.

It may save bulb life but you'll still have to clean it every month -Anne
