Just a question as if someone knows...Is there any aquarium friendly varnish?? Was just wondering if someone can make sure that the objects he introduces in the aquarium are safe.

Not that I know of. Most will either contaminate the water immediately or slowly break down. It's possible you could coat the object in a thin layer of silicone, but I have no idea if you could do this and still have the object look nice....

You have to use fiberglass resin... It is kind of expensive, and the smallest amount you can get is about a quart. It stinks, and if you put it on something that was painted with waterbased paints the paints will run... on certain plastic items they will melt. Epoxy is full of flammable solvents until it cures. The only waterbased epoxies I have seen you must buy in three to five gallon sizes and these are even more money.
