I have a 10 gallon tank with (4) Neon and (4) Von Rio Tetras as well as (3) Julii Corys. Can these guys also have veggies? If so, what do they prefer?

TIA,
- Mandy

do i have to remove the transparent natural film over the individual pees before giving them?

is that canned peas (soft) or fresh peas (a bit harder)?

Yes you should skin the peas as the outer shell is not easily digestible (if at all)

with most veggies, partially cooking them is best - tenderizes 'em a bit for the fishies. (I do 1-2 minutes in the microwave)

I don't cook the zuc before putting it into the tank. I will nuke the peas for about 15 seconds in the microwave, but that's it.

I don't cook my zuchinni, either - just slice it and pop it in there - they reduce it to a skeleton overnight, usually. Peas do need some attention before they go in, and are wonderful roughage for active mid and upper water feeders.
