I have tiny bugs in my red cherry shrimp tank. They are like specs of sand on the glass and have a jerky motion. In the morning, before turning on the light there are tons, then they seem to diminish as the day goes on and the light turns on. But there are still too many to count. They seem to be attracted to a small patch of algae that is growing also. They seems to be round, maybe slightly oval but it’s hard to tell, they’re so darn small. They are white when on the glass but appear brown when on rocks. I can’t make out any other characteristics, been reading a little and assume they are safe but they are unsightly. I have a few chili rhasboras in there and thought they would eat whatever they are. Not sure if they are or not. Any advice on getting rid of them? What are they?
