Was offered a 40-something Gal Hextank/stand/ect for 175$

I was offered a hexagon tank, 40-something gal, stand, about 8 SA Cichlids and everything else to go with the tank for about 175 dollars.


I was just curious if it was worth it. The SA Cichlids I would most likely sell to a family member since he has a 125gal Cichlid tank that only has a few fish in it.


Or I could sell them to a Cichlid breeder that I know.

My main question is, is the tank/stand/ect ect worth it? I, personally, don't care to much about Hex tanks... however I would be tempted to buy the tank if this was a good deal, I could always find something to do with it afterall.


Maybe a SW tank, or something. It'd need to be something that didn't need alot of horizontal swimming space..

Hi William. I'd decline the offer too. Just because I don't care for hex tanks either.

i'd also have to pass on this.......for not much more you could have a new tank. and not a hex *LOL* i despise those things........i'd take it if it were free
