Hi,
What would be the optimal water move t / flow rate in a tank? I've read that the water pumper should be moving 4-6 times the capacity of your tank? Is this accurate?

If I have a 10 gal, the water flow should be ~ 40 to 60?

Thanks!

IMO, thats kind of an old guide and really works for hob filters. Using canister filters, that number would be less. Each filter perform differently as is rated different too. Seeing that you have a 10 gal tank, look for a filter that is rated for 10-20 gal and you should be fine.
