Ammonia 0ppm
PH 6.7
Nitrate 0ppm
Nitrite .5ppm

is it normal?

The tank is established for about a year.

Thanks and i appriciate the input.

Are your no2 and no3 numbers transposed?

no2 poisoning can be very harmful to fish. How are you testing, strips or liquid?

That's a strange one for sure. After a year, I can't imagine a tank not being cycled but your numbers tell me you're not cycled.

All I can suggest is getting the no2 down asap.

How can i get the NO2 down? Water chages? I do 50% PWC every 2 weeks. Should I do a PWC everyday till i get the NO2 down ?

Yep, I'd do back to back PWC until it was 0ppm myself. But there's something else going on if you haven't seen any no3 in a year old tank. In a fully cycled tank you should see 0ppm ammo, 0ppm no2, 5-20ppm no3. pH is pH and as long as it's stable, then you should be OK.

I'd suggest reading thru this link as a refresher: I just learned about cycling but I already have fish. What now?!
