It's called pop eye and I think its caused by water quality but I'm not sure, you may want to google it.

What size tank? Tank mates? Temperature? Is it cycled? What are the parameters (ammonia, etc)? Water change frequency?

If it's one eye it might be an injury but it could be pop-eye. Something like Maracyn 2 with salt treatment might help, but also make sure the tank is stable, the water is clean and there aren't any fish that could be hurting the others.

Sounds like pop eye to me. It may affect the other eye and cause both of them to swell so look out.

Definitely pop eye. You can get some meds for it but it is really strong. The mollies survive it but if you have other things in the tank be careful (especially scaleless fish like albino corys!)

If you haven't, I recommend using aquarium salt with them. They are live-bearers and as a result, inbred and are very prone to bacterial and fungal disease.

As a heads up- this will possibly be followed by ick so watch them closely!
Best of luck
