Weird spots

My one fake plant I have has recently gotten these little dark brown spots all over it. They're about two millimeters. Are they just algae or something else? Sorry the picture isn't the best, there's one in the middle on the left.

It's just dirty. Pull it out, rinse it off in water from the tank (the bucket you use for water changes) and put it back in. If it is only that 1 plant that it's happening with you should be fine. If it's happening all over the tank, there may be a bigger issue. To give you more advice on that I would need to know more parameters of your tank.
