Hi
Bought some plants for my tank and they were put in about a week ago.
Today I have seen these small cluster of black egg type things on one of the plants ...

Are these hey snails?

I have 2 goldfish and 2 white clouds in the tank

Sorry, I got sidetracked, my phone wouldnt allow me to upload photos
Here are the 'eggs'

I have removed them from the tank and put them in a separate empty container to see if they turn into anything interesting

Hornwort is pond or vat grown outdoors so they are likely some type of insect egg, but definitely not snails.
I would say that they belong to the stonefly.
