What are these bugs?

I’m fairly new to this planted tank stuff, I’ve had my tank for about a year but the past few months I’ve switched over to live plants. Today I noticed these really small brown bugs that kind of hop around on the glass and then these clear snail like things. Both are really small, does anyone know what these are, how I can get rid of them and how I can prevent them?

At first glance they look like planarians, I'm sure some fish eat them, and it's likely that they have been introduced to your tank by means of a recently added plant.
